Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions about Get Smart Training Workshops

How long are the workshops?

Workshops are designed on a case by case basis, so the time-line is determined on the needs of your organization. However, ideally we suggest that workshops run 4-6 hours, with a lunch-break in the middle, for the optimum learning experience.

What is the ideal number of attendees?

At Get Smart Training, we believe the best learning environment for a workshop is with approximately 20 – 50 people. We want to assure that all of the attendees have plenty of opportunity to participate.  For a keynote, the sky is the limit! Michelle has presented to groups from 20 to 2,500!

What is the cost of a Get Smart Training Workshop/Session?

Our workshops and keynote presentations are very affordable. Because they are designed specifically for your organizational needs, they are quoted on a per- project basis. Please contact Get Smart Training at (760) 942-1979 for pricing and availability.

How will Get Smart Training determine the specific needs of our group?

The learning objectives will be determined after a thorough “needs analysis” is complete. Initially, Michelle will conduct a thorough interview with the group leader. Typically, this will result in further one-on-one interviews with additional key members of the group. After the “needs assessment” is complete, a custom agenda is created prior to the event and presented to the group leader for approval. Along with the agenda, the group leader will also receive a list of learning objectives to review and approve.

Is follow-up provided after the event?

Definitely! Follow up is crucial to every training experience.  A follow up telephone meeting will be scheduled along with a written report of observations and recommendations to  be provided two weeks after the session.

What are the payment terms?

A non-refundable 50% down payment is due upon booking  the event.

  • The balance is due on the day of the workshop.
  • Expenses are due two weeks after receipt of an Expense
    Statement.
  • Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to the
    event require payment in full.
